Reigning AMA 600 Supersport champion Nicky Hayden may skip the rest of the Supersport weekend to concentrate on Superbike. "I'm going to a meeting right now, and we are gonna decide," he said moments ago.
Hayden was second in Superbike practice after a late session-surge. "I gotta go for the win. It's my only choice. We should be right there, at least a lot closer than last weekend," Hayden commented.

Hayden lost out on some valuable practice time this morning. "We had some problems with the bike early in the session," said the nineteen year old factory rider. "We have some stuff we are going to try in the afternoon session."

Hayden indicated the changes would quicken the steering of his machine.
