Rumors suggest former GSE Ducati team-mates Neil Hodgson and Troy Bayliss may be set to team up again, in the 2001 World Superbike championship.
The team they both rode for in the British championship in 1999 is looking to a full World campaign in 2001. Hodgson has won two World Superbike races this year, at Donington Park and Brands Hatch. The Lancashire rider who comes from Burnley - just six miles from Carl Fogarty's home town - also leads the British Superbike championship.

At Cadwell Park on Monday Hodgson and arch-rival Chris Walker took a win each and Hodgson continues to lead by just one point. Walker's win came in the second race in damp conditions when the Suzuki rider moved away from a dry line in backmarkers, took to the grass and passed Hodgson at the penultimate corner of the race.
