Repeat showing for 2001 championship
by dean adams
Wednesday, August 30, 2000

The 2001 World Superbike calendar is likely to have a similar look to the 2000 version. There's a chance of an additional round in France, at the Pau circuit and the series and series promoter Octagon Motorsports is thought to be looking at potential future rounds in Malaysia, China and South America.

Despite the problems with the 2000 round at Imola the Italian track is almost certain to host a round next year.

The likely 2001 rounds are:

Valencia, Spain
Kyalami, South Africa
Phillip Island, Australia
Sugo, Japan
Donington Park, GB
Monza, Italy
Hockenheim, Germany
Misano, San Marino
Laguna Seca, USA
Brands Hatch, Europe
Assen, Holland
Oschersleben, Germany
Imola, Italy
Pau, France
