Preliminary results from the Super Motard races held in Bologna today are that Ben Bostrom won both legs(format is two per day) with Loris Capirossi second.

Honda's Colin Edwards II crashed in both races but remounted to finish fifth.

Bostrom rode a KTM dirt bike while Capirossi and Edwards the new CRF four stroke Honda.

Max Biaggi did not race.
