Sure, he's not having the best Superbike season of his career, but Doug Chandler's name will live on for another generation. AMASuperbike.com has learned that a California couple have named their newly born son after the three-time AMA Superbike champion. The news came to us via Email from Dale Palmer. He writes:

"Tracy and Barbara White of Vacaville, California have just become parents
for the second time to a healthy baby boy. The newest addition to the
White family, at a bouncing 6lbs 15ozs, has been named Chandler Douglas by
his older brother.
Yes that's right, it seems that Reed (4 1/2), who until now was the
youngest of the White family, is a big fan of Mr. Doug Chandler, and
prefers superbike videos to anything of the purple dinosaur variety.
Congratulations to the White family."
