Early Colorado Information:
Today was a promoter practice day at Pike's Peak International Raceway, the track set-up was changing by the hour, but the riders did get some laps in. Mat Mladin turned the fastest lap of the day, a 1:15.559, and Tom Kipp was second fastest with a 1:16.1. No major drama or anything like that, say my sources. The weather looks good for the weekend.

There are some local links that you might want to check out:

The Colorado Springs Gazette Webmaster says they might upload some html about the races at PPIR. You can check them out at this address: http://www1.gazette.com/ (Copy/Paste)

Here's a local Colorado Springs Page, non racing related: http://www.infront.com/local_links.html (Same here)

I'll be traveling most of the afternoon tomorrow (traveling out of Minnesota now with the NWA strike is a disaster) and probably won't post much more than qualifying times late in the day. Check back.
