Note that Sears Point, which has been on the AMA roadrace schedule since 1968, and Brainerd, which first hosted an AMA Superbike national in 1983, are tied for having the lowest purses in the series right now. Conversley, PPIR, which was a first year venue last year and could have easily cried poverty, instead stepped up and paid a larger purse than three other nationals. --Dean Adams
