Gobert on site, says he's going to ride today.

According to the AMA's Ron Barrick, Anthony Gobert has told him that he intends to ride today. Gobert missed all Friday's practice and qualifying.

According to Barrick he was originally informed by Gobert's people that Gobert would not be riding this weekend.

"They told us he was missing the race. He flew in from Australia late and missed his first appointment to give a sample for the drug test. He called and said that he had flown in late. They re-scheduled for Tuesday and he no-showed that, didn't call or anything. then they said that he had hurt his neck and wouldn't be riding.
He finally gave a sample on Thursday, we sent it to Ohio and I got the final result this morning from the lab and he passed. I guess he intends to ride today."

No word on the mysterious neck injury or how it will hamper his riding. --Dean Adams
