Stoppie-o-ramaSteve Crevier clinched the 600 Supersport championship today with a safe eighth place finish. Crevier did about a million stoppies and running burn-outs on the cool-off lap.
The race was won by Yoshimura Suzuki's Aaron Yates who narrowly beat Nicky Hayden in a massive duel which saw both of their back tires billowing smoke on the entrance of most corners. Larry Pegram led the opening laps and finished third. Pegram crashed this morning and destroyed his A Supersport bike but the Yosh crew built him a new one in a few hours.
