Chandler to Ride 600 Supersport in 1999?

Sources close to Doug Chandler have it that the three-time AMA Superbike champion is still considering whether or not to race the 600 Supersport class next season. It was thought that Chandler would concentrate on the Superbike class in 1999, and forgo any Supersport racing. But Chandler, who entered his first 600 Supersport race at Phoenix,  is said to be mulling over racing the class again next season.

One reason for this could be that Chandler reputedly makes well over $10,000 in Muzzy Kawasaki bonus money for each 600 win he notches on the ZX6R. --Dean Adams
