Kawasaki's Eric Bostrom is one factory Superbike star that isn't testing at Road Atlanta this week. Rather than take in some Georgia sun, do a bunch of testing laps, then hop a plane back to California, Bostrom is off to Sugo, Japan, to participate in the next WSC round this weekend.

All of his mechanics, including crewchief Matt Worbes, are in the Land of the Rising Sun with Bostrom.

Bostrom has raced and tested at Sugo twice for Kawasaki, after each of the last two AMA Superbike seasons. In his last WSC wild card ride, he earned two top fives at Laguna Seca.
