DuHamel On A 600?!
what's up with that?

Former 600 Supersport champion and the rider with the most wins in the class' history, Miguel DuHamel, rode a CBR600 Supersport bike at the recent test at VIR.

DuHamel, definitely back on the pipe as far as a Superbike is concerned, has not raced the 600 class since Daytona. Why test the 600 now?

Insiders say that DuHamel's contract with Honda allows him to ride one more 600 race this season if they both agree it's a good idea. It might be a good idea to race the class at the Laguna Seca World Superbike event, so DuHamel spent some time on the 600 at the recent test just to get seat time.

If he does get a World Superbike entry for the Laguna event--and if he/they decide to race the 600 there as well-- DuHamel will be racing three classes and four races that weekend. That's a lot of riding.

Insiders say that a DuHamel/Laguna/600 decision will be made after the Brainerd round of the series next week.
