Although the sky is bright, sunny and mostly clear at 7:00 AM here in lovely Brainerd, several on-line weather sites say there is a fairly strong chance of rain here today, as much as forty percent according to one site.

Regardless, the relentless heat continues here in Northern Minnesota. It's already 78 degrees outside with an expected (non-rain) high in the 90s.
