It's three poles in a row for Kawasaki's Eric Bostrom. He earned the pole position point by being one of the few factory men to improve his time on a slower Brainerd circuit.
"I think everyone was disappointed with the track being slow," Eric said. "Especially the first splits. They were killing everyone."
The heat and the sealer were the culprits, according to Bostrom. The sealer caused the bike to lose traction, like riding over a mini oil slick that causes both ends to lose traction. "It was totally messing up you're rhythm and the next thing you know, you're being tentative."
Bostrom said one thing that helped him set pole was the fact that his Kawasaki had plenty of steam. "The motor's running good. I think we can give them a run for the money tomorrow."
