Laguna Seca Test Notes
by dean adams
Tuesday, March 26, 2002

Our man on the scene at the Laguna Seca test reports the following:

Doug Chandler has been putting in a lot of laps on the HMC Ducati Superbike, and going quite well. Chandler, clad in his old Cagiva GP leathers (the Italians will *love* that) was almost instantly circulating in the 1:27 lap time range which is fairly decent for a guy who has not ridden a Superbike since the Virginia race last year.

Anthony Gobert did a 1:25.5 at the test there earlier this year.

Mat Mladin, proving he is the iron man of the series, was riding at Laguna Seca just before lunch today. Mladin did a few laps this morning and was planning to do more this afternoon.

More later.
