Somewhere in there, there's ample justification to reward yourself with some new flash vehicle or treat yourself to a First Class weekend in Maui with Leeann Tweeden. But did he? In a word, no.

When asked what he did to reward himself for the big Daytona victory, besides setting the world record for consecutive hours of smiling after it, Hayden confessed last night that he actually didn't do or buy much of anything. In fact, he didn't do much besides hang out with one of his ever-present brothers.

"I didn't do much," Hayden explained. "My brother and some friends stayed in Daytona for a few days after the race It was Spring Break so we got a place down on the beach and just hung out for a few days.

"It was fun, low-key. Jake Zemke came by and we rented scooters on the beach one day."

We can assume he also set the time on his Rolex Daytona.
