Wednesday, September 11, 2002

It's been rumored all week that Eric Bostrom would be joining American Honda's Superbike team for 2003 however now it seems all but certain that the rider joining Kurtis Roberts and Miguel DuHamel on RC51 Superbikes is none other than current Ducati WSC rider Ben Bostrom.

American Honda sources were unable to comment yesterday because they are out of office at the Honda dealer meeting.

This morning, Bostrom's manager, Fred Bramblett, stated when asked if the current story going around is true, that Ben has re-joined American Honda, "I can't comment. I can't confirm or deny at this time because any info on Ben's contract has been embargoed until Friday morning. Call me Friday, buddy."

Bostrom won the AMA Superbike championship in 1998 riding a Honda RC45 tuned by Merlyn Plumlee.
