Yamaha's Anthony Gobert underwent surgery last week. Gobert had the plate, screws and miscellaneous hardware in his leg/ankle removed by Dr. Art Ting last week.

Injured at Road Atlanta, Gobert struggled for most of the 2002 season as the injury healed. Gobert is now near 100% healed in terms of the injury, and wants to get on with post/pre season testing.

Who will he be riding for? Current rumors suggest that either Yamaha US or Austin Ducati.
