The Montreal Indy car race last weekend was an interesting car event from a two-wheeled perspective. The race was promoted by former bike racer and AMA F-1 race-winner Alan LaBrosse, and featured an invitation-only round of the Canadian Superbike championship with Miguel DuHamel doing demo laps on a Honda CBR1000RR. With a three-day crowd count of over 150,000 people, Superbikes raced past one of the largest audiences they'll see all year.

Former multi-time Daytona winner DuHamel was the recipient of some VIP treatment at the event when he was a passenger in Alex Tagliani's two-seated PR car.

The DuHamel family hails from Montreal and all three male members of the famed racing family were on hand at the event--father Yvon, brother Mario and Miguel.

Honda Superbike rider Miguel DuHamel will be in action this weekend in Atlanta where he hopes to wrap up the FX title and make some headway in the Superbike championship.
