1. Mat Mladin, Suzuki -- Mladin once again took maximum points at Barber and has now earned every available point for 2005. He was perfect at Birmingham once again. Simply, no one could hang.
2. Tommy Hayden, Kawasaki -- Hayden won Superstock at Barber and finished a close second in Supersport. Added to his Daytona Supersport win, he's tied for the lead the points in his title defense of the 600cc class. Although he and Kawasaki struggled with pace in Superstock, he took advantage of the dueling Yamahas and won the race.
3. Jamie Hacking, Yamaha -- Despite a serious allergy problem, Hacking rode like heck at Barber. He won the Supersport race to claw back to even with Hayden in that title hunt, and took pole in both classes.
4. Neil Hodgson, Ducati -- Hodgson was fourth and second at Barber and remains second in Superbike points. He's riding great, but Ducati needs to get him some extra juice to fight the Suzukis.
5. Ben Spies, Suzuki -- Barber was a "trap race" for Spies. He did not test well at the 2.3 mile track and his desire to win could have easily forced him to ride over his head, do something stupid and make a mistake to wreck his season. Spies ran with Hodgson on Saturday and DuHamel on Sunday -- a Superbike cschooling you can't get anyplace else. He took third spot both times.
6. Aaron Yates, Suzuki -- On the track, Yates was second on Saturday and looked to be putting a hammerlock on second again when his tire started giving him bad signals. Yates also finished third in Superstock and now leads the points.
7 (tie). Vincent Haskovec, M4 EMGO Suzuki -- Although he lost out in the end to Jake Zemke and Miguel Duhamel, Haskovec led late and was the closest he's coming to upsetting the Honda domination in FX. Haskovec also ran strong in Superstock before his Pirellis went off at the end. And he was also seventh and ninth in Superbike.
7 (tie). George Barber, track owner -- Barber's track had another successful event, with over 50,000 in announced attendance.
