1. Eric Bostrom, Ducati Austin -- Bostrom won Pikes Peak Superbike for the sixth time, continuing his mastery of the track. Bostrom didn't win it the usual dominating way, though, after a strong run by Aaron Yates, who ran down Bostrom and passed him. Eric took the race win by taking advantage of a bobble by Yates on the last lap.
2. Jamie Hacking, Yamaha -- Hacking won the Superstock race and took the points lead in the big Thou' class. He was also a close third in Supersport to keep the points gap to Tom Hayden in the single digits.
3. Roger Lee Hayden, Kawasaki -- Rog is another guy who badly needed a win at PPIR and he went out and took one in Supersport. After some injuries hurt the beginning of his year, Rog is in a good position to keep up the momentum at Road America and close out strong, just like he did in 2004.
4. Aaron Yates, Suzuki -- Yates earned two second places in Superbike and Superstock at Pikes. If he's had a little more grip at the end, he might have won both. That would have made for an epic weekend for Aaron. As it is, he'll just have to settle for the points.
5. Jake Zemke, Honda -- Zemke won his fourth FX race in a row at Pikes Peak, which eased the sting of his pit stop in Superbike.
6. Tommy Hayden, Kawasaki -- Hayden podiumed twice at PPIR, and staked claim to a few meager, hard-fought Supersport points (3) on Hacking in the Supersport championship. Had he not lost ground in the DiSalvo crash, Hayden might have won the 'Sport race going away. He also was the last rider in the lead pack in 'Stock.
7. (tie) Mike Barnes, M4 EMGO Suzuki -- Barnes, after taking a break from racing after he lost his ride after Daytona, subbed for the injured Vincent Haskovec at Pikes. He wasn't planning to ride the big bike at all in Colorado (just FX), but ended up fifth in Superstock despite the brief schedule and a fall that left him sore.
7. (tie) Ben Spies, Suzuki -- Spies has been remarkably consistent for a Superbike rookie and earned his seventh podium in Colorado out of eight Superbike races this year. The one race he was off the box, he was fourth. For the most part, Spies hasn't coasted to those finishes either, and this time bike issues plagued him from the start.
7. (tie) Mat Mladin, Suzuki -- Sure, Mladin pitted in the race for a new tire, but he re-grouped to finish fourth after some spirited riding, including an impressive tire-smoking pass on Josh Hayes. In the end, he only lost one point to second-place Spies in the championship, pretty impressive on a disastrous day.
