Suzuki and Yamaha are rumored to be debuting new 1000cc models next year. The talk in the paddock is Yamaha will return to Superbike racing for 2007 with a hot-stuff new R1. Will they be able to contend in the class (if they return)?

Honda is said to be debuting a new 600 model next year. They are also said to be speaking with several support squads, including the Corona team.
