Yamaha's Valentino Rossi improved his lap time today at the Valencia F1 test--lapping just a little more than a half-second slower than Michael Schumacher in his Ferrari.
Rossi lapped 12th fastest at the test and is probably still a little dizzy from spinning so many times.
Rossi's technique in racing has always been to find the edge and then work his way forward from there, so his spinning multiple times isn't unusual.
The test garnered huge media interest all over Europe--it's the lead story on the BBC Sport web page--and over eight thousand people attended the test.
It'll be interesting to see how MotoGP looks, and what Dorna will do, once Rossi is gone.
You can bet that somewhere Berni Eccelstone is smiling a sly grin.
