I'm filing from Alice's Restaurant in Northern California this morning where Yamaha is holding one of their two '07 unveilings today. The weather is warm and beautiful, and Yamaha has a really nice display set up here for fans to take part in this morning. Eddie Lawson is here, Eric Bostrom is here, it's all really wonderful.

I just chatted with former Superbike champion Ben Bostrom who it was announced will be wearing Yamaha blue next season, riding in the Superstock class.

"I'm really happy to be staying in America for 2007," Bostrom said. "This is going to be so cool. I got the call last week and I was immediately really excited. How could I turn down a chance to be teamed with my brother? Eric has been so pumped about this as well. He says the Yamaha team is a really positive experience and is one where I'll be able to do my best. I'm really happy."

Bostrom also mentioned that he will be riding Superstock on an R1 and hopes to also race the Supersport class for Yamaha. "Man that R6 is so bitchin'," he said.
