Xaus also crashed out.
Bayliss was transported with an injury to his right hand. His little finger was severely damaged in the spill and it is suspected that local doctors will have to amputate it. Update: Reportedly, Frankie Chili saw Bayliss in the Clinica Mobile post-crash and Bayliss was requesting that his finger be removed so he could race the second race but Dr. Costa's men did not allow it.
