According to Ducati CEO Federico Minoli, pricing for the much-anticipated 2007 hooligan in the making Hypermotard 1100 is as follows:

Standard HyperMotard: $11,495

HyperMotard S: $13,995

The S model gets mono Brembo calipers, upgraded Marocchi forks, Ohlins rear and forged wheels. (Keep in mind neither model comes with bail money or a get out of jail free card.)

And while we have not ridden the bike as yet, we like a lot of what we see. It confirms for us that Ducati is both out of its 'Edsel' period and that Pierre Terblanche might be on his way to redemption.

The folding mirror assembly alone on the Hypermo' should get some kind of design award.
