Soup's exalted test rider, Dan Coe, attended the Suzuki GSX-R1000 intro recently.
Suzuki handed out copies of the GSX-R history book as intro gifts, one which Coe graciously sent on to the home office.
We actually don't need any more copies of this book (and still have two copies signed by Ben Spies and Kevin Schwantz from our X-mas sale if anyone wants to buy them).
As it was Kevin Schwantz's birthday this week (Yo!) we will give this book and a selection of Soup shirts to the person who submits the best Kevin Schwantz story.
To enter, e-mail your story (please, keep them above the waist--no Suzuka log cabin stories or anything including that 'She just likes to be naked, I guess' Playboy centerfold he brought to Elkhart that one year).
Be brief, be factual but don't be boring. This contest is open to fans and members of the industry alike.
Include your day time phone number and shipping address in the e-mail.
Send it here. We'll run a selection, and the winner's entry, soon.
