Dunlop's Allen has seen his life get a little easier in the 'NT' days
The weather report we heard for this part of Wisconsin said temps would be cool and cloudy. We'll, it's warm and muggy at the track. Weather.com says it is 76 degrees currently but it feels hotter.

Tires used to be a big deal at Elkhart as the centers of the single compound Dunlops got hot, requiring special thin rear tires. Today, Dunlop used their standard NT triple compound tires and Road America is no longer considered one of the tracks that are truly evil on tires, according to Dunlop's Jim Allen.
