Soup's Italian friend Giovanni Bussei—seen in 2004 US Superbike action on the Parts Unlimited Ducati Team—will be back in action at the upcoming Valencia WSBK tests and both the Donington and Valencia WSBK rounds of the series.

Bussei will ride alongside Ruben Xaus on the Marco Borciani team on an F06 999.

Bussei, possibly the most romantic racing arteur in world championship racing, will be paying homage to racers of old by driving himself to the races with his race-bike on a trailer behind his car.

The effort will be supported by Alfa Romeo and GQ Italy.
