Barnes crashed on the Infineon warm-up lap image by tim huntington

Veteran racer Michael Barnes crashed his M4 EMGO Suzuki GSX-R600 on the Formula Xtreme race's warm-up lap. Barnes was unable to continue, apparently injuring his right arm when he went down at the top of the hill.

Barnes had qualified second for the race and is one of the top competitors at the class. Barnes went to a local hospital for x-rays of his arm.

After a delay, the FX race was started.
