Here's some great footage of Nick Hayden riding the 1909 Indian racer on the new Red Bull Indy USGP road course this week.

After seeing him on this machine again, our immediate thought: bikes of this era did go faster than this, right? Because Indian scored one of the greatest upsets in racing when they won the Isle of Man TT in 1911 and the TT course has hills. Somehow we think if the Indy course included a hill young master Nick would have been pushing.
