Mat Mladin won the Barber AMA race by 8.171 seconds over teammate Ben Spies. He got the lead off the start and never relinquished it. Tommy Hayden was third, 14.902 seconds back to earn his second podium of the weekend.
Jason DiSalvo of Yamaha was fourth. He had a poor start and closed on Hayden, only to lose two seconds late to Hayden in the race. Honda's Neil Hodgson was fifth.
