In the post-race press conference today, six-time Superbike champion Mat Mladin commented on his recent double disqualification at Virginia and his bike being removed from the qualifying order yesterday. Mladin centered his comments on Daytona Motorsport Group's Roger Edmondson.

Asked to comment Mladin said that he he had little to say and then said, "All I've said is that Roger Edmondson can take away my wins, he can take away whatever he likes. He'll never be able to take away my family, my fans or my heart. He can do whatever he pleases but he'll never stop Mat Mladin being who he is."
