Here is some fairly crappy in quality home-cam footage from the Brainerd World Superbike event in 1989.

In this footage you can see then Yamaha rider Anders Anderson and Bimota rider Giancarlo Falappa checking out Fred Merkel's Honda (the latter while chain smoking); there was a lot of interest in the induction system on Merkel's Rumi Honda RC30 as it rolled through tech--note the Yamaha technician standing right in front of the bike.

Also featured: Marco Luchinelli pushing Raymond Roche's Ducati through the tech building and Eraldo Ferracci talking with Dale Quarterley in the garages.
