Riders and their bicycles: a fascination that we've never really felt the need to call our own. Why? Maybe it's the near-psychotic dedication some of them have for their "push bikes" which turns us off, or just that if we're going to go for a ride, we want to do it on something with a twist grip and the ability to lift the front wheel when you grab second gear.
Or, maybe, it's just that our brains have been tossed like salad from viewing the photos (trust me, there are worse images in the series than the one above) of Eric and Ben Bostrom's 24 hour mountain bike race after the last event at Laguna Seca.
We're not going to look at this photo any more, hence we won't be able to identify all of the people in it, all wearing bike gear modeled after those worn in the television program "Reno 911".
