Dave McGrath Leaves Honda
by staff
Thursday, October 23, 2008

This just in from Dave McGrath, who worked as Neil Hodgson's crewchief this year and worked with Jake Zemke, Kurtis Roberts and others in the past:

David McGrath press information 10/23/08

As of 10/23/08 I will be leaving the American Honda motorcycle road race team. I have been contracted with Honda since 2001 and have enjoyed working with many gifted people and true friends. I want to take this opportunity to thank American Honda for providing me an outstanding opportunity and livelihood. In addition, I must acknowledge their above and beyond sensitivity and flexibility these past years regarding myself and my family. In particular; Ray Plumb, Chuck Miller, and Ron Heben have looked after our well being and are genuine friends. I owe them a great deal of gratitude. Honda management has been very gracious in releasing me from my 2009 obligations so I can relocate my family outside California.
