Every single person who picked up a bag in baggage claim at the Indianapolis Airport today was offered information on this weekend's Red Bull GP race.

The scope, resources and scale of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are amazing, which really should come as no surprise, IMS is, of course, one of the biggest motorsports organizations in the world.

Their take on advance work for the GP is amazing. There are TV news trucks here from all over Indiana, a huge display of Stoner's Ducati and related material is set up in the airport itself and furthermore IMS is targeting every single person who walks through the baggage claim area of the local airport.

Everyone who enters the baggage claim level of the airport is met by a Red Bull booth manned by two or three people nicely offering information on this weekend's race. Anyone who responds with any amount of interest is handed a can of Red Bull and a brochure on the race, and tickets to today's fan day and the hint that tickets for the weekend are "quite reasonable". A MotoGP race is playing on a flat screen behind the display with Hayden and Rossi in heavy rotation.
