Hacking will not race on Sunday.

The word given to the media on Saturday at Laguna Seca was that Jamie Hacking was okay after his scary crash at Laguna Seca, but his wife Rachel called 'Soup last night around 11 PM local time after Jamie had left the hospital to set the record straight.

Hacking was knocked out by the crash, fractured his left hand, and suffered bruising and soreness all over his body (and notably his ankle) after his tumble. Hacking will not race on Sunday and will visit Dr. Ting to have his hand checked out next week.

That leaves the factory Kawasaki team without both their regular riders on Sunday. Jordan Szoke is filling in for Roger Hayden this weekend.
