Takahashi Dropped By Scot Honda
no japanese riders in premier class

Yuki Takahashi has been dropped by the Scot Honda team in favor of Gabor Talmacsi.

The amazing factor is that no Japanese riders are currently racing in the premier MotoGP class. Traditionally, the Japanese factory teams have always managed to find seats for their home country racers.

According to Dr. Martin Raines, the official statistician of MotoGP, that breaks a streak of 271 races with a Japanese racer entered in the premier class, going back to the final event of 1991.
