Fallers in the session included Colin Edwards, Nick Hayden, Chris Vermeulen and others. Dani Pedrosa lost an engine. Nick Hayden immediately went faster than he did yesterday but stagnated at the new time. Rossi seemed to be making a long run on a race tire for most of the session. Lorenzo was largely mistake free. Stoner ended the session one stop away from fastest but the look on his face immediately after pulling off his helmet as the session ended said his medical condition hasn't improved greatly.
