For the first time in probably decades, motorcycle enthusiasts woke up this morning in America with a new man at the helm of Cycle World Magazine.
Longtime Cycle World Editor David Edwards was reportedly ousted from the top of the masthead yesterday. Edwards, known throughout the industry (but perhaps not to his face) as "King David", was an ultra-protective force at Cycle World by nature, and his tenure there dated back to a time when America had at least four or five glossy, monthly motorcycle magazines.
Edwards will be replaced by ex-Cycle News man and track rat Mark Hoyer.
