During his media de-brief today at Laguna Seca, Valentino Rossi said that Ducati CEO Gabriele Del Torchio has come to Laguna Seca with Ducati's final offer for Rossi's riding services in 2013.

Paddock gossip suggests that the offer from Ducati is for $12 million Euro and includes that Rossi keeps his current crew and has space made available to him on the side of the Ducati for personal sponsorship.

The length of the rumored Ducati contract at $12m Euro is unknown.

Yamaha's offer, it is said, is somewhere between $3-4 million Euro per year, but that Rossi must bring more Monster money with him to the team for sponsorship and, most interestingly, is that Yamaha are not sold on Rossi bringing his old crew back to the Yamaha team should he return. Cost issues are the suggested/rumored reason as to why Yamaha would not wish to bring Rossi's longtime crew back.
