As part of the media lovefest surrounding Casey Stoner's final ride at Phillip Island, Australian free-to-air TV network Ten aired a hour-long special detailing Stoner's entire career, from his formative years in Australia through this season.
The network spared little expense in the production. Interviews with many pivotal allies and rivals during Stoner's career, including Valentino Rossi, Chaz Davies, Alberto Puig, Livio Suppo and many more, are included. Great footage also is sprinkled throughout "Casey Stoner: The Final Lap." And in typical "Aussies vs. the World" fashion, the show doesn't sugarcoat the chilly relationship between Stoner and Rossi, the two greatest riders of this generation.

And if you live in the United States, wonder if an American free-to-air network ever would dedicate one hour to the retirement of a legendary motorcycle racer from its shores despite Uncle Sam's incredible legacy of success in the sport. Every American MotoGP fan sadly knows the answer to that question.
