In this millennium, largely, commercial airline travel is the great equalizer. Oh, you can buy your way into a bigger seat or a meal but when the flight is cancelled both the passengers who have custom-made leather suitcases and the people who pack their clothes in old coolers stand and wait in the same line.
Valentino Rossi wasn't able to make it to Colin Edwards' boot camp yesterday, nor was he at the track today because of issues on his flights into the US. Apparently, Rossi made it as far as Detroit yesterday and into Dallas today. Several Europeans in the MotoGP paddock missed their connecting flights and had to drive down from distant locales.
Update: Rossi has been sighted here at COTA.
