It appears that racer Tommy Hayden, the eldest of the Hayden racing trio, has accepted a position as Monster Energy Drink's Racing Rep in MotoGP, WSBK and DMG racing. It's known that Monster did a much needed house cleaning after Laguna Seca, and Hayden seems to be their choice for a replacement.
Hayden is known to be in Brno this weekend and spending time with the Monster organization.
For years persons far and wide predicted that because of Hayden's brains, savvy and deft organizational abilities (he's been his brother's manager for several years now and is Chris Clark's riding coach) that Hayden would one day make the switch to a management position in racing.
Hayden won Superbike races in 2011 and finished second in the Superbike championship. Hayden won the 600 Supersport championship in 2003 and 2004 on a factory-supported Kawasaki.
