Soup Research Asst/Volunteer Wanted

We're looking for a research assistant to help us out on occasion here at the 'Planet. Ideally this person would be data-mining from old records both on and off line, and compiling the information for us in a cohesive form.

It's a very part time position and is also very unpaid unless you consider t-shirts, books and hearing an occasional podcast that won't make it past the censors a form of payment.

Anyone interested in helping us out should have a sunny disposition, have a good working knowledge of the history of the sport of motorcycle roadracing and be able to submit their findings in Word or the like.

A typical question we'd like to know for sure might be, "When Erv Kanemoto worked for Barry Sheene, was that before or after the Nixon F750 debacle, and what was Kanemoto's position on the team? Was this a Sheene Yamaha year, or a Sheene Suzuki year?" Answers would hopefully come with some sort of citation.

If this is potentially you, and you're interested in helping out, send us an email.
