2006 MotoGP world champion Nicky Hayden underwent surgery this week to "clean up some scar tissue" in his right wrist.
Last year before the Indy MotoGP round, Tuan Nguyen, part of Hayden's medical team, said that Hayden's wrist would require more surgery. That prediction proved accurate. Hayden said the surgery--performed by Art Ting--is just a minor tune up and he expects to be ready to ride soon.
