The COTA track was only green for a short while before a red flag was thrown due to a crashed and supposedly on fire motorcycle.

The rider and machine have not yet been identified as yet.

Both Valentino Rossi and American Mike Barnes said that the track is still very cold and grip in some sections is not where they'd like it to be. Jorge Lorenzo has not moved from his paddock chair as yet, remaining in his leathers.

The track just went back to green and bikes are slowly going back out.

Update: The bike and rider were Blake Young and the Attack CRT bike. The bike is back in the garage being repaired.
