Reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo ended up third fastest overall when the final preseason test ended Monday at Jerez, but he didn't seem too concerned.
Lorenzo was just 29-thousands of a second behind overall leader Cal Crutchlow and only 15-thousandths behind Yamaha factory teammate Valentino Rossi. But much like he did at Sepang, Lorenzo showed punishing, metronomic pace during a 22-lap race simulation.
His quickest lap during the race sim was 1:40.105, with his slowest at 1:40.955. No other rider showed anywhere near the same devastating consistency Monday, although Dani Pedrosa didn't ride.
