Meanwhile, Cal Crutchlow's Ducati MotoGP bike, photographed at Sepang last week, shows how different a Ducati lab bike may be from a Ducati works racer. Note the body-hugging carbon panel seams, the large "bat cave" rear tail section which suggests that aero and electronics cooling have made Ducati design a taller end piece to their racer. Note the stack of steering head off-set collars on the work bench, the updated chasiss with much less welding needed to build it. Note the large well in the middle of the bike where the fuel tank sits. Note the lack of zip ties.
